Surface Safety Valve / SSV For Well Surface Testing Operation

Surface safety valve (SSV) is a hydraulically or pneumatically actuated fail-safe gate valve for testing service in oil and gas well with high flow rates, high pressures, or the pressure of H2S. The surface safety valve (SSV) is used to quickly shut down the well choke manifold upstream in the event of overpressure, failure, a leak in downstream equipment, or any other well emergency requiring an immediate The valve is used in conjunction with an emergency shut down system(ESD) and normally installed upstream of the choke manifold. The valve is remotely operated either manually by push button or automatically triggered by high/low pressure pilots.

API Flowhead Plug Valve Type For Well Testing Surface Test Tree 2 9/16" x 10000psi

The Flowhead is the Surface test tree manufactured according to API specification and is used to well surface testing equipment. The well surface test tree is primary device for controlling the well and allowing the introduction of wireline. Flowhead / Surface Test Tree consists of four gate valves: a master valve, two wing valves, and a swab valve. The outlet wing valve is act by hydraulic actuator. Above the swab valve is a lifting subassembly (sub) with a threaded connection. The threaded connection is quick union which is used to connect auxiliary pressure equipment. Beneath the optional swivel are the master valve assembly and the bottom sub. In order to raise and lower a drill stem test string / DST Tools String, elevators (clamps) are attached to the flowhead. The flow head mainly used for controlling the surface pressure and fluid and gasmovement during drill stem testing in well testing service, and more easy to release the formation over pressure in short time at the beginning of well open. The 3 1/16" flow head with 10000 psi working pressure can show the actual fluid movement in high pressure well testing as small resistance of fluid, not easy to block.

​Hose Loops as the part of the pipeline are conformed with API specification, and mainly used for transporting fluid in high pressure discharge line, well testing line and cementing slurry line. Hose Loop can make flexible approch to fluid direction change. Hose Loops can handle a complete range of standard and sour gas fluids at cold working pressures up to 15,000 PSI and can be used in both standard service and H2S service. The Hose loops consist of swivel joint, hammer union and pup joint.

Application of Hose Loop

Hose loops are used in a wide variety of oil and gas well service applications, such as circulating lines, water lines, discharge lines, well testing lines and temporary flow lines. The hose loops are used most extensively for primary and secondary cementing operations.

Types of Hose Loop

Hose Loop is composed of pup joint and swivel joints. Three types of hose loops are available:
  • Short radius flexible manifolds,
  • Long radius flexible manifolds
  • Integral type flexible manifolds.

Features of Hose Loop

The swivel joints in hose loops feature flexibility, shock-resistance, vibration-resistance and large displacement. They are connected with wing unions, and have a good sealing performance. They can be easily and quickly tightened or dismantled, and stored and delivered conveniently.

The gas testing manifold is a kind of surface well testing equipment, it is the high pressure well manifold used for controlling the fluid pressure and flow, normally manifold offers the option of directing flow through either choke while isolating the other for choke changes, maintenance or repair. Structure of gas testing manifold

The manifold consists of a manual adjustable choke valve, a positive choke valve, Manual Gate valve WKM , Block Tee, Block Cross etc., the manifold will be tested as per standard API 16C. The valve installed in the manifold is WKM type, and the gas testing manifold is in easy operation that can meet the requirements of oilfield testing requirements.
