Yes, you are responsible for the items you store at Enumclaw Self Storage, and Insurance for those items is required. We offer affordable third party insurance/ protection plan options at the facility. In the event that you are already covered, a copy of the declarations page must be available at the time of rental.

Homeowners Or Renter Insurance

Your exciting homeowners or renter insurance policy may offer “off-premises” coverage for your personal property, which can include items in a storage unit.  However, these policies often have limits on the amount of coverage for “off-premises items”, typically around 10% of your total personal coverage.

How Much Is The Property Protection Plan Offered Through Enumclaw?

We offer insurance through Storsmart Insurance program.  For an additional fee you can get coverage for your belongings valued up to $7,500.  The coverage rates and current premiums are as follows

  • $2500  for $11/month
  • $3000  for $13/month
  • $5000  for $22.50/month
  • $7500  for $33.50/month
