Although my poetry is not extensive, it has survived multiple purges. Like any other artist, a majority of work is and goes in the trash. I hope to be writing more but don\u2019t be surprised if the next time you read it, it\u2019s different. Words evolve. For example, I was involved in a car accident after I wrote the song \u201cThe Disciples of the Dark\u201d. Originally, the chorus stated, \u201cIf you know, please don\u2019t tell me\u201d. Before I recorded it, I changed it to \u201cif you know please tell me\u201d. The drummer said \u201cYou can\u2019t do that, you\u2019ll change the meaning of the whole song\u201d and I replied, \u201cwell, I wrote the song and I feel this should be the meaning\u201d. Sometimes words just tell you to follow.
