The Tubing head is the important parts of the wellhead equipment and connected with Christimas Tree, the tubing head is designed with universal straight hold and conformed with API 6A Specification, which can be fitted with all types of single or double-string completion tubing hanger.

Tubing head is usually a spool with both flanged ends, so it is also called tubing spool or tubing head spool, it is set on the top flange of casing head to hang tubing hanger and seal the annular space between the tubing string and oil-layer casing and which consists of tubing head spool and tubing hanger.

The tubing hanger is an important component of wellhead tubing head / tubing spool, it is used in the completion of oil and gas production wells. It is set in the tree or the wellhead and suspends the production tubing. Sometimes the tubing hanger provides porting to allow the communication of hydraulic , electric and other downhole functions and chemical injection.

Tubing hanger has various structures including taper type and straight seat type. It can be either of metal-to-metal seal or non-metal seal. The product has back pressure valve thread and locating mechanism. The reliable compression seal actuated by lockdown screws, control annulas pressure during Christmas tree installation.
