Our company charges a flat fee instead of charging a typical percentage of the purchase price. For example, your home is worth $500,000. You only pay a flat fee of $899 on the listing side. You also have to pay commission to the buying agent. Let\u2019s say 2.5%. The total commission you have to pay is $12,500 plus $899 equals $13,399. If you will pay the traditional 6%, you will have to pay $30,000 \u2013 a saving of $16,601.
