Patti Sollers

Patti’s passion for CCWA’s mission is deeply personal. Her son experienced a traumatic brain injury (TBI) while playing in a church baseball league. The injury required extensive rehabilitation, including relearning how to walk, coping with partial vision loss, and overcoming numerous other challenges.

Her father also sustained an open brain injury after being attacked. Additionally, members of her immediate family live with mental health disorders. These experiences have profoundly shaped Patti’s understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families dealing with brain injuries and mental health issues. They have fueled her unwavering commitment to breaking down stigmas and advocating for mental health—a dedication driven by both professional expertise and personal resilience.

Patti is one of the three founding board members of CCWA, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with knowledge and resources to combat the stigmas surrounding mental health. Her expertise in accounting, business management, and human resources is vital to the organization’s operations.

In addition to her work with CCWA, Patti manages her own insurance agency, overseeing all aspects of its operations. Previously, she managed a group travel organization and brings over 30 years of experience in the customer service industry to her roles.

As the secretary/treasurer of CCWA, Patti is primarily responsible for the organization’s banking functions. She administers payments, handles employee payroll, manages transfers and wire transactions, and resolves financial disputes. Her deep knowledge of accounting and dedication to the cause ensure she executes her responsibilities with excellence.

Outside of her professional commitments, Patti enjoys scuba diving, reading, and cherishing time with her family. Her well-rounded approach to life reflects her dedication not only to her work but also to maintaining strong personal connections and pursuing her interests.
