Gravity Conveyor – A gravity conveyor is constructed with a series of wheels that are mounted to a common axle support system. This system uses gravity to keep products moving along the line of assembly. This type of conveyor can be used for many different types of use, but they are typically used for off-loading trucks, shipping and packaging applications.
Roller Gravity Conveyor – Excellent for handling odd shaped packages, bags and cartons. This style of conveyor offers good support for the bottom surfaces of the items with irregular surfaces. Items may be manually pushed along this conveyor or the conveyor may be declined to allow the force of gravity to move the items.
Power Conveyors – Power conveyors, also known as live rollers, are mainly used to transport boxes and totes. Belts are used to propel the systems and these can be installed to function on multiple levels. For example, from a floor level to a mezzanine level. This type of conveyor is very versatile and can be used for truck loading and unloading, packaging, assembly line as well as for shipping and receiving.
